A whopping 20 pounds!
New measurements on Mayah are as follows...
Age: 18 months (as of Dec 10th)
Weight: (9.3kg) 20.5 lbs
Height: (72.5cm) 28.5 inches
Head size: (44cm) 17 in
Chest size: (45cm) 17.75 in
No. of teeth: 4 top, 4 bottom
This means that compared to other Chinese girls (who are typically smaller than U.S. girls) she is in the 50th %ile for weight and 3rd %ile for height. Hard to know if the weight was "nude weight" or if she was weighed in the layers and layers of clothing that the caregivers usually put on the babies. Regardless, 20 pounds sounds A LOT better than 16, which was the info we received a month ago. So, the 1-year-old clothes I've bought should fit just fine...

Your girls are so cute!!! Megan is getting SO big! And Mayah is absolutely adorable!!! I can't believe how good her surgery turned out. (Mom says Hello and she really likes the picture of "you" that you put in the Christmas card. She wondered when it was taken because she didn't remember ever seeing it before. Ha Ha) I haven't gotten my card yet but Mom just called and was telling me about it so I called up the blog while I was on the phone with her. I've added this site to my bookmarks and will be checking it often! Tell the gang I said Hi (Yours and Laura's) and your mom too!
